Why can’t I paint like this? :C
The first step to being able to paint well is being able to paint and draw/sketch things realistically exactly how you see them! Of course there are many other things going for this painting such as the composition and color, but the folds of his shirt, the detail on the girl’s legs… It wouldn’t be the same without those details. Even those who prefer abstract or non-objective painting, you will find that they are still able to paint and draw realistically if they wanted to.. It’s just that they paint that way by choice, not limitation
